FAQs

Q: Do you have a showroom?

A: We do not have a showroom. We recommend going to one of our suppliers and viewing full size slabs. We also have small samples that we can bring to your house. Sometimes seeing the colors in your own space is the best way to go!

Q: What is the best countertop material?

A: Depending on what you are looking for in a countertop the answer may vary. However, Quartz countertops are the least maintenance product on the market. Quartz is easy to clean and does not require any sealer to keep from staining. We all have Quartz in our own homes.

Q: What products do you sell?

A: Quartz: Silestone, Hanstone, Ceasarstone, LG Viatera, Vicostone, Q Quartz are out top ones. Granite: From most suppliers in the  Minneapolis area

We do not sell: Corian, Cambria, or Zodiac

Q: Is Granite cheaper than Quartz?

A: Sometimes. Granite has the largest range of pricing of all products. Depending on the size of the project, granite can range in price from $50/sqft up to $150/sqft. Quartz has a smaller range of $60/sqft up to $90/sqft (based on 50+sqft). Laminate is $25/sqft

Q: Do you sell remnants?

A: Occasionally we have remnants available but selection is limited. If you have a small job we always recommend Hanstone Quartz because we are able to buy 1/4 and 1/2 size slabs. Send us the size you need and we can get you a quote.

Q: Do you ever run specials?

A: We always try to offer the best prices possible. If you receive a cheaper quote but would prefer to work with us, send us the quote and we can take a look at it to see what we can do.

Q: Do you use subcontractors?

A: We try to do most measures and installs ourselves still. Due to high demand and aging bodies we are not always able to personally install. We hire and hand select the installers that we approve of personally. If we do need to bring in help most of the time we will also be at the install while it’s happening to watch for quality control.
